Four beautiful glamping studios

Four studio lodges, each with their own en-suite shower room and an outdoor living space.

The Byres offer our guests a unique, cosy and comfortable glamping experience where you can enjoy the beautiful Western Lake District and Eskdale Valley whilst still enjoying some of life's home comforts, such as a comfy bed, hot shower, heating and electricity.

Each of the studio lodges has a sofa, a kitchen unit with kettle, a small fridge and microwave, no other cooking facilities are provided in the Byres, but we do offer a small gas griddle or charcoal BBQ for hire and there are places to barbecue within the grounds if you would like to bring your own.

Outside the double patio doors you have your own covered decked area with a table and chairs so you can take in the superb views whatever the weather. On the decked area is a sink and work space, so you can bring along a camping stove. There is a large lawn and picnic benches, as well as a communal fire pit.

Four en-suite glamping Pods!

In addition to the Byres, we have four large Pods which offer a little bit of luxury and fantastic views of the Eskdale Valley.

The Woodland Pods offer a cosy and comfortable glamping experience with their own en-suite shower room, comfy double bed, kitchenette with fridge, microwave and kettle, a large double sofa bed.

Each of the Pods have their own en-suite facilities with a hot shower and heating.

They have their own outdoor space with a table and chairs and firepit, so you can sit out in the evenings and enjoy the natural sounds of the countryside, or if it is raining, you can sit inside and enjoy the comfort of a spacious living area.

Inside the Pods is a small fridge, microwave and kettle, along with mugs, tea spoons and glasses. There are no other cooking facilities inside the pods, but you are welcome to bring your own camping stove, or hire one of ours. There are three great Pubs within one mile of our site, the nearest being only a 2 minute walk.
